Pro-Cal Solutions provides installation, commissioning, calibration and maintenance of all types of process instrumentation including transmitters, control valves, shutdown valves, solenoids, regulators and single-loop controllers both electronic and pneumatic.
We have vast experience with all transmitter types such as pressure, temperature, level, flow, density, etc in all the various measuring techniques and available manufacturers.
Our calibrations include detailed calibration certificates referencing our NATA certified testing equipment.
PROJECTS
BOC Gases - Kemerton ASU Replacement Liquid Nitrogen Vessel​
​​​This installation project was one of the first that Pro-Cal Solutions executed for BOC Gases at their ASU facility in Kemerton, WA.
The existing back-up liquid nitrogen vessel (VIE) had reached end-of-life and was replaced with a new unit.
Pro-Cal Solutions was engaged to perform all the instrumentation services including scoping/design, installation, ITR’s, calibrations, commissioning and loop testing.

Firstly, the new transmitters, control valves and pneumatic controllers were configured, bench-tested and calibrated prior to installation
Spare I/O channels were identified in the site control system and new cables run to the field locations, mounting of the instrumentation and tubing installation was executed next, in preparation for the live change-over date. Pro-Cal Solutions ITR’s (Inspection Test Records) were completed on all wiring systems, tubing systems and instrumentation.

On the date of the live tie-in, Pro-Cal Solutions had to operate under very tight timeframes, as supply of the critical back-up nitrogen to the client could not be interrupted.​
The final tubing runs were competed quickly and efficiently while the piping contractor performed the physical tie-in. Some unexpected control valve issues were encountered which had to be overcome on-the-spot whilst maintaining a safety-conscious attitude. At the end of the shift, the tie-in was a success with chilling, loading and subsequent export from the new vessel completed without any impact to production.
