Gas Compression Facility, Western Australia
Pictured is one of the first projects we designed, drafted, procured, fabricated, commissioned and supplied for one of Australia's largest natural gas and electricity companies.
Purpose built for one of their sites in Western Australia, this control panel along with the associated pressure switches, monitors the discharge pressure of an oil pump and trips the unit if the operating conditions fall outside of safe parameters.

It evolved from a concept in the mind of our Director, to the final finished product that we delivered to the client. A full completions dossier including schematics, ITRs (Inspection Test Records) and datasheets were handed over upon successful commissioning of this project.

Level Switches for RO Plant in Pilbara, WA

Pictured is a shipment of level switches ready for delivery to one of our clients for installation in their RO (reverse osmosis) plant.
​
These were carefully selected by Pro-Cal and custom built based upon operating conditions such as; chemical suitability, density, process pressure & temperature, I/O loop restrictions and a request for a non-adjustable set point.
They should provide many years of simple and reliable operation without the increased failure modes of other, more complicated types of level instrument.

PROJECTS
E&I Commissioning, Shutdown & Maintenance Personnel
Pro-Cal Solutions is proud to support BOC Gases at their Kemerton ASU facility for their quarterly plant shutdowns where we provide both day and night shift E&I Technicians for the duration of the shutdown and start-up phases. We also supply additional calibration equipment and pre-shutdown planning to ensure a high volume of work is executed in the shortest possible timeframe.

This is replicated at Air Liquide in Kwinana where we offer a similar service for their annual ASU shutdown.
​
An important service we provide to many of our clients is shift coverage and embedded contractor roles working in both production and maintenance capacities. This helps them maintain manning levels onsite and provides continuation of valuable breakdown support to maximise plant uptime.
We have extensive project experience at various TransAlta power stations in the Northern Goldfields region where we have designed, installed and commissioned various small-scale process upgrades.​
Pro-Cal Solutions were thrilled to have the opportunity to assist Carbon280 with the E/I commissioning of their revolutionary Hydrogen Hydrilyte pilot plant in East Rockingham.
Recently, we have been excited to provide international support for the commissioning of the Pani gold mine in Indonesia for Merdeka Copper Gold.​

Rotating Equipment E&I Support
Pro-Cal Solutions is proud to support Rotation Group (formerly known as Rotation Solutions), BOC Gases and TransAlta with their rotating equipment E/I requirements.
We have executed numerous projects whilst assisting Rotation Group over the years, including Solar Turbine engine exchanges at Varanus Island and Moomba gas plants for Santos, repair work on GE Frame 6B turbines for APA, installation of vibration monitoring equipment at Fortescue Solomon power station, technical consulting on Work Instruction reviews for Woodside and design, construction and commissioning of small-scale fluid transfer systems for APA.
On numerous TransAlta sites, we have provided E/I support for routine shutdowns on GE LM6000 and TM2500 gas turbines where we mobilise our highly experienced technicians to site with a full complement of turbine-specific and NATA certified calibration equipment. These technicians have an excellent track record of carrying out turbine instrument calibrations and CFT’s (Critical Function Testing) in an efficient and professional manner.
At BOC Gases we look after their centrifugal compressors and turbo-expansion machinery, which is integral in the creation of their industrial gases. Pro-Cal Solutions installs, calibrates and maintains such items as speed transducers and over-speed trip relays, Bently Nevada vibration probes, transmitters and monitoring equipment plus remote vibration monitoring platforms.

Not to mention our ongoing maintenance, repair and replacement support of many different types of both gas and liquid analysers at the TransAlta South Hedland power station and BOC Gases Kemerton ASU facility.
South Hedland Power Station is a co-generation type facility with waste heat from the LM6000 gas turbines being used to create steam to operate a steam turbine. Pro-Cal Solutions has been involved with all types of analysers onsite from turbine exhaust stack emissions monitoring, through to the water chemistry analysers in the RO plant and the water purity analysers on the boiler steam & condensate systems.
At the BOC Gases Kemerton ASU, we provide the complete suite of E/I services including calibration of the fiscal metering instrumentation, product purity & moisture analysers, plus service and maintenance of all the process and control gas analysers.
Instrument calibrations are one of the mainstays of our services with almost every client benefiting from our experience, professionalism and personalised interactions.
We have recently expanded our capabilities to include the periodic servicing and calibration of PGM’s (Portable Gas Monitors) from manufacturers such as Draeger, Honeywell and Riken.
